The distribution policy for the Sol og Strand Foundation Sol og Strand Margit and Kjeld is based on the articles of association, which can be read here link. The foundation's distributions are for charitable and non-profit purposes. Particularly in relation to humanitarian, social, or cultural purposes.
Support may be granted to registered (CVR) organizations and associations for projects in the form of both one-off and long-term support. The support is for charitable purposes, which is why it must benefit a wider group of people. No support is granted to private individuals or business operations.
The size of the total annual distributions is determined by taking into account the fund's business activities and finances when setting distribution limits within each application category for the individual year.
The fund's board of directors is responsible for the distribution, which is carried out in accordance with the fund's articles of association. It is also ensured that the fund's distributions fall within the scope of its purpose and that the funds are used most effectively and appropriately through the applicant's reporting after the project's completion.
The Board of Directors is expected to determine the distribution policy for 2027 at its meeting in December 2026, after which the policy will be published as soon as possible.
