Founder of the SMIL Foundation, which supports seriously ill children and young people. Previously, she was a TV host on DR and TV2 and has written a book about the Recipe for Life. Sisse is also behind the PiemonteCamino, where she organizes hiking trips in Italy.

Line Gertsen
Board member of "Fonden Sol og Strand ved Margit og Kjeld".
Line Gertsen has worked for several years as an investigative correspondent at DR and as a host on TV-Avisen. In January 2026, she was hired as an investigative journalist at Zetland.
Line Gertsen has won several awards for her work, including the award for Documentary of the Year in 2024, the Amnesty International Human Rights Award, and the award for Best Communicated Investigative Story from the Association for Investigative Journalism. She has also received the Thomas Gerstenberg Foundation Grant for improving the rule of law for the most vulnerable in society through her journalism.
Line Gertsen was born in Frederikshavn and grew up in Blokhus and still has strong ties to North Jutland, where she visits as often as she can.
Line Gertsen lives on Zealand with her husband and is a mother of three children.
