A number of relief organizations will receive a total donation of 1 million kroner from the Fonden Sol og Strand by Margit og Kjeld, which is the main owner of Sol og Strand Holiday Home Rental, within a few days.

The donations are made to support the organizations' humanitarian efforts in war-torn Ukraine.

Jens Stadum, who is the chairman of the Fonden Sol og Strand by Margit og Kjeld, states:

– The Ukrainian people are going through unimaginable horrors these days and nights as the war rages on. It affects children, women, and men of all ages. And we know well that one million kroner is just a drop in the ocean in relation to alleviating the suffering faced by those who are affected by the war in so many ways.

– But the Fonden Sol og Strand by Margit og Kjeld is, among other things, created to make a difference where there are humanitarian needs. Both in Denmark and internationally. Therefore, in solidarity with the Ukrainian people – and with great humility for the task that the relief organizations perform to alleviate the suffering of Ukrainians – we have decided to extraordinarily donate a total of one million kroner from the foundation to the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, says chairman Jens Stadum.

The money will be distributed equally among the following humanitarian organizations: UNICEF, Red Cross, Save the Children, Doctors Without Borders, DanChurchAid, and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
