Founder of the SMIL Foundation, which supports seriously ill children and young people. She was previously a TV presenter on DR and TV2 and has written a book about Livets Opskrift (The Recipe for Life). Sisse is also behind PiemonteCaminoen, where she organizes hiking trips in Italy.

Line Gertsen
Board member of the " Sol og Strand Foundation Sol og Strand Margit and Kjeld".
For several years, Line Gertsen has worked as an investigative correspondent at DR and as a host on TV-Avisen. In January 2026, she was hired as an investigative journalist at Zetland.
Line Gertsen has won a number of awards for her work, including the 2024 Documentary of the Year Award, the Amnesty International Human Rights Award, and the Award for Best Investigative Reporting from the Association for Investigative Journalism. She has also received the Thomas Gerstenberg Foundation Grant for improving legal protection for the most vulnerable members of society through her journalism.
Line Gertsen was born in Frederikshavn and raised in Blokhus, and she still has strong ties to North Jutland, where she visits as often as she can.
Line Gertsen lives on Zealand with her husband and is the mother of three children.
